This is my favorite time of year in the Big Easy. Christmas in New Orleans is magical; in fact HGTV voted New Orleans the number one city to visit during the Christmas season.
There are so many things going on in NOLA the city has a 2009 guidebook with just events happening this season. You can have one sent to you! www.neworleansonline.com/christmas Of coarse we have it here at the 1896 O’Malley house for our guests.
Some of the highlights are: Christmas in the Oaks at City Park, Free Concerts in St. Louis Cathedral, Caroling in Jackson Square, Special Reveillon menus in local restaurants and of coarse PAPA NOEL! The B&B is all decorated up for the holidays, Porter and I are just waiting for you to arrive. Since there are to many things going on this month, we could not list them all.
