Yep, you got it. It's HOT here, butnothing stops the fun here is NOLA. This August is no exception. Things start off with The Satchmo Summer Fest on August 5th-8th.
On Saturday August 7th is White Linen Night. This is a really fun event. It takes place on Julia Street. So put on your white linen outfit and stroll along the street and browse the art galleries, snack on great food and of coarse have a cocktail.
As always there is a counter event to White Linen Night and that would be Dirty Linen Night on August 14. this event takes place in the French Quarter on Royal Street.
My favorite is the Red Dress Run. This takes place on August 14th. There will be thousands of men and women in their RED dresses and a lot of drinking going on. So come join all the fun here in New Orleans this month. Oh, and dont' forget your white linen or red dress!
